Principal's Message

Another great week is underway at Jackson! This week, we are excited to begin our Positive Referrals, recognizing students who demonstrate our ROARsome attributes of Respect, Ownership, Aspirations, and Reflection. We are also kicking off our LJ After Hours program, giving students even more opportunities to connect, get involved, and be part of our Jackson community.

We look forward to seeing our Tigers continue to ROAR as ONE and make it another great week at Jackson!

Please support our teachers by signing up to participate in our faculty fairy program starting this month. 

Every Tuesday in September is Spirit Night at Bartaco! Eat out between 5-7pm any Tuesday in Mosaic and mention Luther Jackson.

             LJ After Hours Starts This Week!

Competition and academic clubs officially begin THIS WEEK!  Please note that only the clubs listed below are starting this week. All other LJ After Hours clubs and activities will begin Tuesday, September 22.

Clubs starting this week:

  • Monday, September 14: Battle of the Books, English Help Club, Algebra Help Club, Science Olympiad
  • Tuesday, September 15: Asian American LEAD (AALEAD), Technology Student Association (TSA)
  • Wednesday, September 16: Future City Competition, Model UN, Theatre Interest Meeting
  • Thursday, September 17: Student Government Association (SGA) Interest Meeting
  • Friday, September 18: STEM Scholars
