Dear Kings Park Families,
Kings Park’s Back to School Night will be held this Thursday, September 17th, from 5:30pm-7:00pm. There will be three, 25-minute sessions. At each session families can choose to visit a classroom teacher or specialist. This is an opportunity to learn about your child's teachers, the school day, and our instructional programming (Preschool - 3rd Grade).
- Session 1: 5:30pm-5:55pm
- Spanish interpretation services available for Preschool and Kindergarten presentations
- Session 2: 6:00pm-6:25pm
- Spanish interpretation services available for 1st and 2nd Grade presentations
- Session 3: 6:30pm-6:55pm
- Spanish interpretation services available for the 3rd Grade presentation
Please enter through Door 1. Staff members and signage will be available to help you locate your desired presentation(s).
Families are encouraged to click on the images below to preview Back to School videos from FCPS Superintendent Dr. Reid, School Board members, Kings Park Administration, the PTA, and Kings Park Specialists before the event.

Meet Kings Park’s Family Liaison - Cinthia Loza
Every FCPS school has a family liaison who welcomes and orients families while helping them understand the school’s culture, policies, procedures, and practices. They can connect families to community resources and provide support during transitions to a new school. Kings Park is lucky to have Cinthia Loza as our Family Liaison.
My name is Cinthia Loza, and I’m so grateful to serve as your Family Liaison. My role is to help strengthen the partnership between our families, students, and school staff. I’m passionate about making sure every family feels supported, informed and welcome to our school community. In my free time I love spending time with my family and participating in church activities. I was born in Peru, I have 2 wonderful kids and 3 beautiful dogs; I love going to beach and love going to the mountains in the fall. Me llamo Cinthia Loza y estoy muy agradecida de servir como su enlace familiar . Mi función es ayudar a fortalecer la colaboración entre nuestras familias, los estudiantes y el personal de la escuela. Me apasiona asegurar que cada familia se sienta apoyada, informada y bienvenida en nuestra comunidad escolar. En mi tiempo libre, disfruto estar con mi familia y participar en actividades de la iglesia. Nací en Perú, tengo dos hijos maravillosos y tres perros hermosos; me encanta ir a la playa y visitar la montaña durante el otoño. Kings Park Bell Schedule
Doors open at 8:30am. Students should be in class by 8:40am.
Students are dismissed at 3:25pm.
