Membership Challenge: Family PTA membership is $32 for the entire school year and includes all children in the household. Membership supports programs, events, teachers, and students across Oak View. The students in the winning grade will receive a special prize, and their teachers will receive a separate prize. The challenge ends September 18. Membership does not require volunteering. JOIN HERE

Back to School Night & Parents Night Out: InCourage Martial Arts’ “Glow Dodgeball Parents’ Night Out,” benefiting Oak View PTA on Thursday, September 17. Both events run from 5:00–7:30 p.m., with drop-off from 5:00–5:30 and pickup from 7:00–7:30. Cost is $25 per child, and pizza is provided. Location: 10501 Braddock Road, Fairfax, Virginia. Children should bring a white T-shirt. REGISTER HERE

PTA After School Club registration is still open! With activities for many different interests, there’s something for everyone. Registration is from September 1st-22nd through Homeroom. LINK TO REGISTER
Savers Donation Drive- Starts Today!: Donation Drive will be from September 14th-October 31st. Give your items a second life- and help refresh our teacher's lounge. All proceeds from our $775 goal will go to our Teacher's Lounge refresh project.
Place all donations in the white box outside the school's front doors. The box will be available at all times.
What is not accepted? Clothing with stains, holes, or odors; broken or nonworking household appliances; textbooks and dictionaries
PTA Family Movie Night: Join the PTA on September 18th at 6:00pm in the cafeteria for a viewing of Disney's "Cars." Please note: this is a NOT a drop off event and all students must remain under the supervision of a parent/guardian.

Host a Trunk: Help make Oak View’s Fall Festival extra special by hosting a trunk for our Trunk or Treat! Families are invited to decorate their trunks with a fun, festive theme and hand out candy or non-food treats.

Blue Star Breakfast on Wednesday, September 30, 2026: This event welcomes and celebrates military-connected families during Blue Star Welcome Week, September 26–October 4. Families are encouraged to help make the breakfast special by supporting the school’s Amazon Wish List. SHOP HERE
Oak View Elementary Swag: From T-shirts and sweatshirts to accessories and more, there are plenty of ways for the whole family to show their Eagle pride.
