Registration for Garden Green Team opens today, Monday, September 14 at 7:30 AM.

There will be a limit of 25 students. Registration dues are $50 per child. Please pay dues on the PTA website under Clubs by Wednesday, September 16. Registration is not considered complete until dues have been paid.

NEW ADDITION: Science Olympiad
Calling all science foxes! 3rd - 6th graders are invited to join the WSES Science Olympiad team!
Science Olympiad offers students the opportunity to improve their understanding in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to work together in teams to learn new skills.
This year Willow Springs will be fielding both Division A (3rd, 4th, and 5th) and Division B (5th and 6th) grade teams.

Division B is more “serious” competition, with regional tournaments open to all registered teams in Virginia, and the potential to advance to a State tournament - more information available here: https://www.virginiaso.org/div-bc

There will be virtual parent interest meetings held at 7 pm on Tuesday, September 22, and 7 pm Friday September 25, where details on both Science Olympiad divisions and participation/competition expectations will be shared. Please fill out the interest form in order to be sent a meeting invite. The parent meeting is optional, but highly encouraged.
5th graders must choose either Division A or Division B - students cannot compete in both divisions. Information will be provided at the parent interest meeting to help you choose the right division for your 5th grader.
Please fill out the interest form no later than Friday, September 18.

Chess Club
Registration is open now through October 1. Sessions will take place on Thursdays from 4:15-5:30pm. Students in 2nd through 6th grade are eligible to participate.
