Hey, yeah I saw your message about the hiking trail this morning. I think the north ridge is way too muddy right now, we should probably stick to the lower loop. The ranger station said they saw some elk near the big oak grove, but I'm not sure I believe it. Honestly half the time those sightings are from a week ago.
I've been trying to get my dog to stop chasing squirrels on the path, but she's got a mind of her own. Did you ever fix that squeaky gate in your backyard? I remember you said it was driving you nuts at night. I can swing by with some WD-40 later if you want, it's the kind of thing that takes two minutes.
Let me know what time works for you, I'm around after four. My phone battery is at like twelve percent so if I don't respond, I'm probably just charging it in the kitchen. Also tell Sam I left a jacket at their place last weekend, no rush but it's getting cold. YK6xeM3xTZAsPbo Weather says it might frost tomorrow morning, so maybe we start a bit later.

Okay so I was thinking about that recipe you sent over, the one with the lemon and rosemary. I tried it last night but I swapped the chicken for tofu because the store was out of thighs. It actually turned out pretty good, though I think I overdid the garlic a little. My apartment still smells like an Italian restaurant.
Oh and I finally reorganized the shelf by the window, the one that was bowing under all those cookbooks. Took me like two hours but now everything is alphabetical by author. My neighbor asked if I was building a library, which was funny. I said I'm just trying to not get crushed by a rogue copy of Joy of Cooking.
Anyway, let me know if you want the leftover tofu version. I put some in a glass container, should be fine for a couple days. We can heat it up while we watch that documentary about mushrooms. I'm still surprised you liked it, but I'm glad we have something new to argue about.
