Hey, so I finally got around to organizing the spare room yesterday and it was honestly kind of funny how many old concert tickets I found just tucked into random books. I kept thinking I would need them for something, but now they are just little paper memories. Also, I tried to make that lemon pasta recipe you sent me last week and completely forgot to add salt to the water. It still turned out okay though. I think next time I will add some fresh basil right at the end so it does not get too wilted in the pan. The dog absolutely refused to believe the vacuum was not a threat. He barked at it for a solid ten minutes while I was just trying to clean under the couch. I finally had to give him a treat and put him in the other room. Later I went for a walk around the block and noticed that the neighbor has planted a bunch of sunflowers along their fence. They are already taller than I expected for this time of year. I wonder if they started them inside earlier in the spring. That might be a good idea for next year honestly. The weather was so nice that I ended up sitting on the porch for a while and watching the birds. There is one little robin that keeps coming back to the same branch near the window. I should probably stop putting crumbs out though because I do not want to attract anything bigger. My plan for the rest of the week is to finally fix the squeaky hinge on the back gate. I have been saying I would do it for at least a month now. Anyway, hope your v3Rf2crNsUR day is going well. Let me know if you want to grab coffee this weekend.

I spent way too long this morning trying to remember where I put my keys and it turned out they were in the jacket I wore last Tuesday. That jacket has been hanging by the door the whole time and I walked past it at least four times. Then I went outside to water the plants and realized I had left the hose connected in the backyard from the weekend. It had a little puddle around it but nothing serious. I think I am going to start putting my keys on a hook right when I walk in so I stop losing them. Have you ever tried one of those magnetic key holders that attach to the side of the fridge? I saw one online and it looked pretty handy but I am not sure if it would scratch the surface. My aunt used to keep a little bowl on the entryway table just for keys and loose change, and it seemed to work really well for her. Maybe I will do that instead. We had a pretty good thunderstorm roll through last night and the power flickered once or twice but never fully went out. My cat handled it surprisingly well, though she did hide under the bed for the first few minutes. I took the opportunity to light a candle and read for a while since the TV was acting up anyway. Honestly, it was kind of nice to sit there without any screens for a bit. I finished a chapter of this book I have been slowly making my way through since the beginning of the year. It is not a long book, I just keep getting distracted before bed. Anyway, I guess that is the update from my corner of the world. Talk soon.
