Hey, I got your note about the weekend plan. Honestly I think it sounds great, we should absolutely go check out that trail by the river before it gets too warm in the afternoon. I can bring a couple of water bottles and maybe some of those little orange snacks from last time. I remember the last time we tried to do this, we ended up parking at the wrong lot and had to walk an extra mile, so let me look up the right spot on my phone before we leave. It is funny how every time we plan something outdoors one of us forgets a hat or sunglasses. I found my old camera bag behind the shelf in the garage too, so if you still need that strap for your binoculars I can grab it. Also the neighbor mentioned the bridge on Mill Street is closed this week for maintenance, so we should take the road behind the school instead. I am not sure if that road is open to bikes right now but we can check. Let me know what time works for you and I will sync up with you tomorrow morning.
I also saw that the community garden near the library has a lot of new flowers, could be a nice place to stop on the way back if we are not too tired. No rush at all, just throwing it out there. I think a slow morning is fine, I am not trying to leave before nine anyway.

So I finally got the shelving unit assembled in the guest room and it actually looks way better than I expected. The little brackets were a bit confusing at first because the instructions had a few steps out of order, but once I flipped the middle board around it all fit together. I did end up using that small drill from the hallway closet and it worked fine, just took a little longer than I thought it would. Now I have a place for all the board games and the extra blankets that were stacked in the corner for months. The room feels twice as big without all those piles on the floor. Next time you come over you can check it out, I think we can finally have a proper game night without digging through boxes. I also moved the lamp from the living room to that space and it gives it a much cozier feel at night. The plant stand you gave me fits perfectly in the corner under the window, so that whole side of the room is coming together slowly. I still need to hang the small mirror above the bench but that can wait until I find the right hooks. Not a rush, the room is functional now. I am just glad I did not have to ask anyone for help, though I probably should have used a level for the top shelf. It tilts just a little to the left if you look closely, but nobody else will notice unless they are checking. Anyway, that is the latest project around here. Kind of nice to check one thing off the list.
I might tackle the pantry next weekend but I am not promising anything.
