Not sure if you got my last note about the weekend plan. I was thinking we could start earlier so we beat the afternoon crowd. The trail near the north entrance has a lot more shade, which will be better since it is supposed to be warm. Also, I found a small cooler in the garage that still works really well, so we can pack a couple of cold drinks and some fruit. Let me know if you want me to bring the extra folding chair, it is light and fits in the trunk easily. I will probably leave my place around nine, so I can be at your door by half past. If anything changes with your schedule, just send a quick message. The route with the old stone bridge is open again, which is nice because the other path was getting muddy. I heard the wildflowers are starting to come in near the creek bed, so we should take the cwhHbBm1nL4HZ loop that goes past the fallen oak. It is a bit longer but the view from the second overlook is worth it. Bring a light jacket in case the breeze picks up near the end of the day. See you soon.

I forgot to mention earlier that after our walk we could stop by that small bakery on Mill Street if you are hungry. They started making a lemon poppy seed loaf that everyone in the office keeps talking about, but it sells out by early afternoon. If we take the shorter route back along the creek we should get there around one, which is usually before the rush. I can bring my reusable bag so we do not need to juggle boxes. Last time I went I bought the wrong kind of granola for my sister and she still brings it up, so now I always double check the label before paying. The shop has a little bench outside where we can sit for a few minutes before heading back to the car. I am going to charge my phone overnight because mine always dies by mid-day, especially if I use the map app. There is a chance of a light drizzle in the evening, but nothing that would cancel the plan. If you want to invite your neighbor Sam, that is fine, just let me know so I can bring an extra bottle of water and another snack. I plan to wear my old trail sneakers because the gravel near the first turn is loose. Okay, I will stop adding details now and just see you in the morning.
