Hey, thanks for getting back to me on that thing. I was thinking about it more and honestly it makes a lot of sense once you walk through the steps. We should probably grab a coffee next week and go over the notes from the last call. I keep meaning to organize my desk but every time I start something else comes up. Anyway, the main thing I wanted to say is that I found an extra notebook in my bag this morning and it had a few ideas we didn't talk about yet. Nothing urgent, just some thoughts on how to approach the new schedule. Let me know if Thursday before lunch works and we can compare notes. If not, Friday is also fine. No rush at all, just wanted to touch base while it was fresh. Hope your week is going smoothly and the weather is treating you halfway decent. Talk soon.

So I was looking at that photo you sent from the weekend. The one with the big group by the trailhead. I think the sun was hitting the trees in a weird way but it actually made the whole scene look really nice. Did you end up trying that shortcut on the way back or did you stick to the main path? I remember you said the ground was a little muddy in spots. Anyway, I was talking with a co-worker about hiking spots and they mentioned a place about an hour north that has a few overlooks. Not sure if it is too far for a quick trip but could be worth checking out sometime when the weather clears. I was also going to ask if you still have that extra water bottle or if you left it in the car. Not a big deal either way. Let me know how the rest of the day goes. Might be free later if you want to catch up on a call. No pressure. I was also thinking we should plan something for next month. Maybe a short day trip or just a long walk somewhere with less traffic. The trails near the river are usually quiet on weekdays. We can figure it out. Hope you are doing well.
