Hey, I just wanted to circle back on that note you sent earlier this week. I think I finally got a chance to sort through the photos from the weekend trip, and honestly some of them turned out way better than I expected. The light on the ridge around mid-morning was unreal, and there was this one shot of the trail curving around the rocks that I keep coming back to. I ended up spending a good hour just tweaking the colors a little and getting the crop right. It was kind of nice to slow down and focus on one thing for a bit.
I also meant to ask if you ended up trying that new place on the corner near the park. A couple of people mentioned the outdoor seating fills up fast, especially later in the afternoon when the breeze comes through. If you go, let me know what you thought. I was thinking about heading over later this week but I am still on the fence.
Anyway, I should probably get back to the rest of the stuff on my list here. It has been one of those mornings where the coffee is doing most of the work. I will send over the photos once I finish the last couple of edits and make sure nothing looks too overdone. Talk to you soon.

I figured I would respond to your message now while things are still calm over here. The morning has been surprisingly quiet, so I had a chance to finally organize the shelf by the window that has been piling up for weeks. It is mostly old notebooks and a few random chargers I forgot I owned. There is something satisfying about clearing a space and realizing you actually have more room than you thought.
Also, I remembered you had asked about that trail up by the old fire road. I checked with a friend who goes up every few weeks, and they said the east side is a bit overgrown right now, so the west approach is the better call. The path near the creek is still dry enough to walk without too much trouble, but I would not count on the shortcut after a rain.
Let me know what your weekend looks like. If the weather holds, maybe we can meet up near the overlook and just sit for a while. No need to make it a whole production. I have been trying to keep things simpler lately, fewer plans and more just seeing what happens. It has been working okay so far. Anyway, that is enough rambling from me. hRKunHFE9r9AfIK Write back when you get a chance.
