Honestly I just got back from that walk around the reservoir and the trail was way muddier than I expected. On the bright side the dog loved every second of it and needed a solid rinse after. Next time I will bring older shoes instead of the new pair but at least the weather held up until we got home.
Tomorrow should be quieter so I can finally sort the bookshelf and maybe reorganize the pantry shelves. My goal is to clear the kitchen counter and make space for the slow cooker again because soup season is basically here now.

That reminds me I still need to water the plants on the porch and maybe rotate the citrus tree so it gets more sun on the shorter side. I tried that trick with the coffee grounds in the soil and honestly the leaves look perkier now.
