I'll be home later than usual today. I have to stop at the pharmacy first because I need to pick up a refill before they close at six. Then I'm going to the grocery store to get milk and bread and maybe some eggs if the price looks okay. I saw on my way out this morning that the road by the park has construction again, so I'll take the back way to avoid sitting in that line. It adds about ten minutes, but it's better than waiting behind the trucks. I should be back by seven, maybe seven fifteen at the latest. I already put the chicken in the fridge to thaw this morning, so dinner can still happen tonight if we start right when I get in. If you're hungry before then, there are some crackers on the counter and the leftover soup from Tuesday. I'll text you when I'm leaving the grocery store so you know I'm on the way. That way you won't have to keep checking the driveway. I'm not stopping anywhere else after that.

I stopped at the store on the way home from work today. I needed milk, bread, eggs, and some canned soup. I got there around 5:40 PM. It was busier than I expected for a Tuesday. I used the self-checkout because the regular lines were long. The total came to $23.18. I put the bags in the trunk and drove straight home. I put the milk and eggs in the fridge right away. The bread went on the counter. I still need to go back later this week for laundry detergent. I forgot to check that aisle. I was in and out in about 20 minutes.
