How would you like to be part of a WDIV focus group? You might also like to know this will be a televised event. Are you still with me?
Here's what we're looking to do: We want to chat with a handful of people about the issues that matter most to you as we near the election. Things like everyday costs, the overall economy, data centers, education and more.
Right now, we're still working on logistics, but it'll be the first part of October on a weeknight. It could be a pre-taped interview with me at our coffee shop in Plymouth, or we'll do it live in the evening at our downtown studio.
If you're STILL with me, here are the boxes we'd like to check. I'm shooting for at least two Republicans and two Democrats, and an Independent-- if we have one out there. Ideally, from each party, we'd like someone who's moderate and someone farther right/left.
Within those parameters, we'd like to also get some representation from as many counties as possible -- Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw and Livingston.
The bottom line is we'd like to make your voice heard while continuing to inform our audience about the issues affecting everyday folks.
