Alright, so about the community garden plot rotation meeting Thursday night - I think we should arrive a bit early to walk the perimeter and check the fence line near the tool shed. Last year the deer pushed through the eastern corner and got into the kale before anyone noticed. If we plan to add the new herb spiral by the south wall, we'll need to measure the sun exposure around 2pm when the shadows are shortest. I can bring a tape measure and some stakes. Also, the compost bin latch is sticking again after that rain, might need a bit of sanding or a new spring. Let me know if you want me to grab anything from the hardware store on the way. I was thinking we could test the soil moisture in the raised beds too, just to see if the drainage improvements from April are holding up. If you want to grab coffee first, the place on Elm opens at six.

About the book club list for next month - I was thinking we could do two picks instead of one, maybe a shorter novella and then a longer novel for the second half. The last meeting went long because everyone had opinions about the ending, which was fine, but maybe we cap discussion at ninety minutes and then move to casual notes. For the meeting space, the library's south room works well for about twelve people, and the chairs are more comfortable than the basement room. I'll send a poll for dates. If anyone wants to lead the first discussion, I'm happy to hand off the notes. Also, could you check if the projector adapter is still in the cabinet? The cord looked a bit frayed last time and I want to avoid any surprises when we present the reading timeline. I'll bring extra copies of the next chapter list.
