I finally got around to cleaning out the garage yesterday, so let me know if you still need a spot for those folding chairs. I found two extra shelves behind the camping gear and moved the old paint cans to the side wall. It opened up way more space than I expected. There is a cracked plastic bin full of extension cords that I might toss unless someone wants them. The cords all work fine, but the bin itself has a split along the bottom. I set aside a small cardboard box with mismatched sockets and a few rolls of blue painter tape. Those are easy to donate if you know a group that could use them. I also came across that tin of assorted screws from last summer. The lid is a little bent but it still closes tight enough. While I was sorting, I remembered you mentioned building a small workbench, so I kept the spare plywood piece leaning against the back shelf. It is about three feet by two feet and seems solid. There is also a set of casters in a paper bag near the door. They might be handy if you decide to make the bench movable. My neighbor has a power drill we can borrow for an afternoon.
