Hey, just got your note about the trip next month. I was thinking the same thing about the early start but I have to check with the team before I confirm anything.
The weather looks decent for that weekend but I'd still bring a windbreaker because the evenings can get cool near the water.
Did you end up reserving that campsite by the north loop? I think there's a path that connects to the overlook without needing the extra shuttle.
Anyway I can rearrange my Tuesday if that helps with timing.
Let me know what works best and I'll bring the extra cooler and the folding chairs we talked about.
I might also grab a couple of board games from the closet in case it rains one afternoon and we need something to do.
Oh and the new coffee place near the intersection opens early so we can stop there before we head out.

I finally got around to clearing out the garage this weekend and it took way longer than expected.
Found a box of old magazines and some tapes from years ago that I completely forgot about.
A few of the cords were tangled beyond saving so I just set them aside for the recycling bin.
The shelves look much better now though and I can actually walk to the workbench without tripping over anything.
Still need to sort through the container of random screws and brackets but that can wait until another day.
If you want a small wooden stool or an extra lamp let me know because I found duplicates of both.
I also came across that puzzle we started last winter and half the border pieces are still in the box.
Might bring it over next time we get together if you're up for finishing it.
Anyway the garage project is mostly done and I'm calling it good enough for now.
