Hey, I just got your note about the weekend plans. Honestly, I think going for a long walk early Saturday sounds better than trying to organize anything too structured. The weather has been shifting so much lately that I keep checking the forecast and then completely forgetting what it said by the time I step outside.
I ended up rearranging my kitchen shelves yesterday, which took way longer than it should have because I found a jar of dried herbs from years ago and couldn't remember if I actually liked it or not.
Anyway, what do you think about meeting up near the old bookstore on the corner? The one with the creaky wooden floor and the big front window. They have a small reading nook by the back shelf where it's usually quiet enough for a proper conversation.
I could bring some of those seed crackers I made last month. They turned out surprisingly crisp, though I might have gone a little heavy on the rosemary, so fair warning on that.
Let me know what time works for you. I'm flexible all morning and most of the afternoon, so no pressure either way.

I was thinking about how we used to spend entire evenings just sitting on the porch and talking about nothing in particular. Those conversations never felt wasted to me. They always left me with something to think about the next day. I remember one time you mentioned that the best ideas come when you're not trying to force them, and I think about that more often than you'd expect.
Yesterday I took a different route home and passed by that small community garden I'd never noticed before. People had planted tomatoes in old buckets and somebody had labeled each row with hand-painted stones. It made me want to start something similar, even though I have zero experience with growing anything.
Maybe that could be a project for the warmer months. I know you've talked about wanting to spend more time outside, so if you have any thoughts on where to begin, I'd be interested in hearing them.
For now I'm just trying to keep my desk organized and not let the small tasks pile up too much. Some days that works better than others. Let me know how the rest of your week shapes up.
