I met with Mark yesterday about the patio steps. We walked around the side of the house and measured the old ones again. He said the wood is worse than we thought, so we agreed to use concrete blocks instead. I called the supplier this morning and the blocks can be delivered Thursday. I'll let you know what the final cost comes to after he writes it up.

I'll be home later than usual tonight. The traffic report said there was an accident near the exit I normally take, and that added about forty minutes last time. I'm going to stop at the store on the way back because we're low on bread and milk, and I know we need both for tomorrow morning. I checked the store hours, and they close at 9, so I should still have time. If the traffic clears up earlier, I might get there around 7:45 instead of 8:15.
