I called the office again about the reservation for Thursday. I talked to someone named Dana, and she said the room is still not confirmed. I asked about the other building, and she said that one has a table for six at 9:30. I told her that time works, but I need to check with Sam before I agree. I will call Sam after lunch and then call Dana back with an answer.

I had a meeting with my landlord this morning at 9. We talked about the rent increase notice I got last week. I asked if he could wait until June, and he said yes. He also agreed to fix the bathroom fan before the end of the month. I wrote down the date and his phone number on a notepad near the door. I will check the fan next Friday to see if it works. After that, I plan to call him if it's still not fixed. The rent will go up by 40 dollars starting in June, not May. That gives me two more months at the old amount. I put a reminder on my phone for May 25 to get the new check ready.
