I stopped at the grocery store after work today. I usually go on Saturday mornings, but I was already near the store and wanted to save a trip. I picked up milk, eggs, bread, and a bag of apples. I also got some chicken for Thursday. The total was forty-two dollars, which is about five dollars more than last month. I noticed the price of eggs went up again. I paid with my debit card and put the receipt in the glove box. After that I drove straight home and put the cold items away first. The milk went on the top shelf and the chicken in the bottom drawer. I left the apples on the counter. Tomorrow after work I might stop again for trash bags because I forgot them. I wrote it on the list that is on the fridge so I do not forget a second time.

I'm going to be home later than I said this morning. The bus schedule changed last month, and the 5:20 doesn't run anymore. The next one is at 6:05, so I'll get to the stop around 5:50 to be safe. I checked the traffic on my phone, and it looks normal for a Tuesday. I'll probably be walking in the door around 7:15 instead of 6:30. I'll call before I leave the station so you know I'm on the way.
