Hey, so I got the invite for the thing next week and honestly I might just skip it because I have a ton of stuff to catch up on around the house. You know how it gets when the to-do list starts piling up and suddenly the weekend feels way too short. I did finally rearrange the pantry though, which felt weirdly satisfying even if nobody else will ever notice. The shelves look so much better now and I found three boxes of pasta I forgot about. I also tried that new coffee place on the corner and the cold brew was actually pretty solid, though the line was ridiculous for a Tuesday afternoon. People were just standing there staring at their phones while the barista called out names nobody answered. Classic. Anyway, let me know if you end up going and maybe we can plan something else later in the month. I should probably also return those library books before they fine me, not that the fine is big but still, it's the principle. Hope your week is going okay so far and that your cat finally stopped knocking things off the counter. Talk soon.

So I finally tackled that overgrown corner of the yard this weekend and it was honestly more work than I expected. The weeds had basically formed their own little ecosystem back there and I feel like I disturbed some very old tenants. But the sunlight hits that spot now and the whole yard looks about twenty percent less abandoned. I also repainted the mailbox post because it was peeling in that way that makes the whole house look tired, even though the house itself is fine. Small fixes make a weirdly big difference. On another note I watched that series everyone keeps mentioning and I made it through three episodes before deciding I need a break from anything intense. The pacing was so slow and the lighting was so dark that I kept checking if my screen brightness was broken. Anyway the weather is supposed to be decent later this week so I might finally wash the car, which I have been putting off since last month. The bird situation is getting out of hand again too. They found the spot above the porch light and now there is nesting material everywhere. I tried hanging some reflective tape but they just used it as decoration. If you have any ideas that actually work let me know. Hope you have a calm few days ahead and that your plants are doing better than mine. Talk later.
