I will be home later than usual today. My shift runs until 6 PM instead of 4 PM because two people called out. I already told my neighbor to feed the dog at 5. I stopped at the store this morning and bought bread, eggs, and coffee, so we do not need anything else for tonight. I plan to take the bus that leaves right after 6, which gets me to the corner around 6:40. If that bus is late, I will call from the stop. Dinner can just be leftovers from yesterday, so nothing needs to be prepared ahead of time.

Next week I have a meeting on Tuesday. It starts at 1 PM. I checked the calendar this morning and that time still works. I want to go over the main points before we start, so I wrote down a short list. There are four items on it now. I will send the list to everyone on Friday, so we are ready on time.
