Hey, I finally moved that box of books out of the hallway like you asked. Took way longer than I thought because the bottom was full of old photo albums and I got distracted looking through them for about an hour. The ones from that summer trip to the lake are still hilarious, especially the one with the canoe tipped over.
Anyway, the hallway is clear now and I vacuumed behind where the box was sitting. There was a ridiculous amount of dust and a couple of pens I thought I lost months ago.
I also pulled out the recycling bin to the curb since it gets picked up early tomorrow. The bin was pretty full, mostly cardboard from those packages that arrived last week. Next time I will actually break the boxes down before tossing them in.
Oh, and I found your blue sweatshirt wedged behind the couch cushion. It is in the laundry basket now.
My plan for the rest of the evening is just to make some pasta and maybe watch a documentary. Nothing too exciting.

I think I accidentally left my umbrella at the office yesterday, or maybe it fell out of my bag on the way to the parking garage. Honestly could be either one. If you happen to walk by the front desk later and see a dark green one with a wooden handle, would you grab it for me? No rush at all.
I also meant to tell you that the new coffee place on the corner finally opened. I walked past this morning and the line was out the door, which is either a great sign or just opening week chaos.
Maybe we can check it out Thursday if you are around. I am curious about their iced latte but also want to see if their pastries are as good as people keep saying online.
By the way, the little succulent on my windowsill has somehow survived another month, which feels like a personal victory.
