The DOJ is reportedly preparing to deploy about 1,000 monitors this fall — a historic number. But the public still does not know who is being chosen, how they are being vetted, or whether partisan operatives and election deniers are being placed in positions that could intimidate voters or undermine confidence in the results.
Trump has spent years lying about elections, pressuring officials, and trying to bend democratic institutions to his will. Now his DOJ wants to flood polling places with monitors while refusing to answer basic questions about who they are. Congress has the power to subpoena documents, hold public hearings, and force DOJ officials to explain their election-monitoring program before voters are put at risk.
Add your name now and demand Congress protect voters from intimidation, partisan interference, and anyone who cannot be trusted around election systems. Thanks for everything you do. Josh |
