To answer your question about the tomato beds, yes, those should be moved to the east side near the fence line where they got good morning light last season. The soil there was amended with compost in late March, so it's ready if you want to turn it over this weekend.
As for the herb spiral, I think it works better closer to the shed so it's easier to water. The rosemary didn't do well last year next to the walkway, probably because of foot traffic.
For the fall planting schedule, let's plan to seed the kale and chard by the first week of September. The raised beds will need a top dressing before then. I'd mix in some aged manure and a little lime to balance the pH.
Do you still have the extra trellis panels from the spring build? We could use a couple for the cucumber rows.

Okay so about the pottery class schedule, right now Tuesday evenings work better for me than Thursday, since I have that book club on alternating weeks. The instructor mentioned we'd be doing slab building first, then moving to wheel throwing by week three.
If you want to carpool from the north parking lot, I can swing by around 6:15. That gives us enough time to set up our stations and grab an apron.
Last session the clay was a bit too dry, so I might bring a small spray bottle this time. Also, we should decide on a glaze palette early, because the kiln schedule fills up fast. I'm leaning toward those speckled blues and a matte white.
