Hey, I got your note about the weekend plans. Honestly, I think the later train works better for me too.
That way I can finish up the yard work in the morning, grab a quick bite, and still make it downtown before three.
If you want to meet at the corner of the park near the old fountain, that is usually the least crowded spot around that time.
I picked up that new paperback you mentioned, the one about the coastal towns and the disappearing light.
Not too deep into it yet, but the descriptions are sharp and the pacing feels unhurried in a good way.
Bring a light jacket because the breeze off the water tends to pick up after sunset.
I will keep my phone on vibrate in case either of us needs to shift the timing.
Looking forward to catching up and hearing how the pottery class has been going.
That small blue and gray bowl you made is still sitting on my kitchen shelf next to the jar of dried rosemary.
Anyway, send a quick reply if the fountain spot still works. Otherwise, the bench by the bike path is a solid backup.

I finally took the screen out of the back window so the afternoon light hits the plant shelf directly.
The little fern on the left is thriving now, but the one by the radiator still looks a bit pale.
I might swap its spot with the jade plant and see if that helps over the next few weeks.
Earlier I walked down to the corner store for some oat milk and noticed they started carrying that honey you like.
The extra creamy kind with the blue label was on the top shelf, mixed in with the wrong brand.
I moved a couple jars forward just in case you stop by later this week.
After that I spent a while sorting through the pile of old maps in the hallway closet.
Found one from that trip to the northern peninsula with the pencil marks still along the coast road.
Might frame it and put it above the desk next to the small photo from the overlook.
Let me know what night works for that pasta place with the striped awning.
I can do Wednesday or Thursday, but earlier is better since it fills up fast.
No rush on replying. Just wanted to send the note while the day was still quiet.
Hope the library meeting went well and the projector did not give you trouble this time.
