I stopped at the grocery store after work today. I needed milk, bread, eggs, and a few things for lunches this week. I got there around 5:40 PM and it was busy, but I found a parking spot near the cart return. I grabbed a basket instead of a cart because I did not want to deal with the crowds in the wider aisles. I checked the price on the store brand eggs and they were up forty cents from last month. I bought the smaller carton this time. I also picked up a bag of apples and some sliced turkey. I did not go down the cereal aisle because I still have two boxes at home. I was in line for about ten minutes and the total came to $38.12. I put the cold items in the trunk first and drove straight home. Everything made it inside before the rain started.
