Hey, thanks for asking. Yeah, I finally cleared out the back patio over the weekend. The weather was pretty decent on Saturday, so I moved the chairs, swept up all those dried leaves, and even wiped down the little table. It looks way better now, honestly. I kept meaning to get to it for weeks. Sunday was more of a lazy day. I made a big pot of soup, did a couple loads of laundry, and then just watched a movie in the afternoon. Nothing too exciting, but it felt good to reset before the week started. I also found a random box of old cables behind the grill, so those went to recycling. My neighbor came by for a minute to say hi, and we ended up talking about plants. He suggested putting some lavender by the steps when it gets warmer. I might actually try that. Anyway, that was my weekend. What about you?

So I was thinking about that project we talked about, and honestly I think it's a good idea to just start small. Not everything has to be finished in one afternoon. I went for a walk last night and the air had that damp smell, like rain was on the way but never really showed up. I grabbed a sandwich on the way back, nothing special, just turkey and mustard. Been trying to read more instead of scrolling on my phone before bed. It's working, kind of. Last night I made it through two chapters, which for me is basically a victory. The book is about old train routes and some of the towns that disappeared when the lines closed. Weirdly relaxing. Anyway, I am around most of this week if you want to grab coffee or just talk through the plan. No rush.
