Hey! I was thinking about that thing you asked last week. Honestly, I meant to reply sooner but the week got away from me. You know how it goes when everyone suddenly wants to run a meeting before Friday. I did finally get outside for a bit on Sunday though, which helped a lot. The trails near the north side are pretty quiet if you go early enough. I saw maybe four other people the whole time and one very determined squirrel. Anyway, I wanted to pass along that recommendation you mentioned about the over-the-counter stuff. It worked exactly how you described, which was a relief because I was starting to think I'd have to call in. The instructions on the back were weirdly vague but I figured it out. I also tried that recipe you sent, the one with the lemon and the herbs. Next time I'll go lighter on the salt, but other than that it turned out really well. I've got leftovers for a couple days which is nice. Let me know when you're free to catch up properly this week. I promise I'll actually answer faster next time. Oh, and tell your sister the plant she gave me is still alive, which is honestly a record for me.

Not much new on my end since we last spoke, to be honest. I've been trying to get through a stack of old magazines someone left in the break room and honestly half of them are from before I even started here. There was one with a feature on tiny home renovations that I actually read cover to cover. The storage ideas were surprisingly practical, even if I will probably never build a fold-out desk into a staircase. It made me think about rearranging my workspace though. Maybe getting a better lamp would fix half my problems. I also tried making bread again this weekend. The first loaf came out dense enough to be a doorstop, which was humbling, but the second one was pretty good. The trick seemed to be letting it rest longer before kneading. I don't know why I keep trying to bake when I could just pick some up, but there is something satisfying about the whole process. If you want the recipe, it's basically flour, water, salt, and patience. Mostly patience. Let me know what you've been up to and if you ever finished that puzzle from the photo you sent. I got distracted and never asked how that ended.
