Oh I'm so glad you reached out about the garden project. The tomato seedlings have really taken off since I moved them to the south side of the yard. I think the extra morning light is exactly what they needed after that cloudy stretch. Have you decided what else you want to put in the raised beds this season? I was thinking about trying a few pepper varieties, maybe some shishito or poblano. The soil amendment arrived yesterday so we can mix that in whenever you have a free afternoon this week. Let me know what works for your schedule. I'll bring the seeds and the extra trellis netting for the beans.

To answer your question about the hiking trail, I'd say the north loop is definitely the better option if you want a quieter walk. The south trail gets a lot more foot traffic, especially on weekends when the trailhead parking fills up early. Last Saturday I went around 7am and had the ridge almost to myself for a solid hour. The wildflowers are starting to come in on the upper switchbacks, mostly lupine and a few poppies here and there. If you go this weekend, bring layers because the temperature drops fast once you get above the tree line. I'd also recommend the side path to the old fire lookout. It adds about twenty minutes but the view is worth it. Let me know if you want to head up together on Sunday.
