Yeah I think the morning block works better for me too. The sun is not as direct and the trail stays shaded until almost nine. I have been meaning to ask if you still have that extra kettlebell gathering dust in your garage. My neighbor mentioned wanting to start a small routine but does not want to commit to a gym membership yet. If you are not using it maybe we could trade for that stack of garden magazines I borrowed. I finally finished reading the one about raised bed spacing. Honestly the section on companion planting changed how I want to lay out the tomatoes this spring. The idea of putting basil between the rows makes so much sense for pest control. Let me know what morning you want to meet at the park entrance. I can bring extra water and a small first aid kit just in case.

So the plan for the weekend is to start at the north lot around seven thirty. If we are early enough we can grab the picnic table near the big oak before the crowds show up. I was thinking we could do the loop trail first, then circle back for sandwiches and cold drinks. My sister said she would bring that pasta salad with the olives and feta from the recipe she got at the cooking class last fall. I told her to keep the dressing on the side so the greens do not get soggy. After lunch we can walk over to the lake path if the weather holds. The forecast looks decent but I will pack the lightweight rain shells just in case. If you want to bring the dog, the north entrance has a water station and a shaded rest area. Text me when you are heading out.
