By the way, I tried that new recipe with the spicy noodles and I think I added too much chili paste. My brother said it was fine but he kept reaching for water every two bites. Next time I will cut the amount in half and maybe add some chopped cucumber. It was still better than the attempt at the lemon drizzle cake last month. That one came out more like a heavy lemon brick. I am convinced my oven runs hot, but everyone else thinks I just leave things in too long. The timer on my phone is not great because I sometimes pause it and forget to resume. Do you have any tips for making sure a sponge stays light? I used room temperature eggs and folded the flour slowly but it still sank in the middle. Maybe I opened the oven door too early. Anyway, the plan for this weekend is just to clean the garage and maybe stop by the farmer's market on Sunday morning. They have really good honey and occasionally fresh flowers.
