So yeah, I got your note about the trail route. I actually drove out there a few weeks ago and the parking area was completely full by mid-morning. If you go, I'd aim to arrive super early or maybe try the northern entrance instead. It adds about ten minutes but it's a much nicer start to the loop.

I also finally replaced the batteries in the little weather station we have on the back porch. It was stuck on the same reading for days and I kept forgetting to deal with it. Turns out the whole unit just needed a hard reset after the battery swap. Now it's flipping between forecast modes again and it's almost fun to watch.

On an unrelated note, I've been reading that book you left on the coffee table. Took me a minute to get into it but the last few chapters are moving quickly. I won't spoil anything but there's a turn halfway through that changes the whole tone. When you finish it, let me know what you think. I might re-read the first section after I'm done because I think a lot of the early details matter more later.
