Hey, I was just thinking about that hike we took last spring over by the old quarry. The wildflowers were already starting to bloom, and I remember you said the blue ones smelled like butterscotch, which we both agreed was weird but kind of nice. Anyway, I was wondering if you ever found that missing thermos, the green one with the dented lid. I think I saw it in my trunk last week, but it could also have been at Mark's place. He did say something about a thermos he found buried under his camping gear. I was also meaning to tell you that I finally started reading that book you lent me, the one about the lighthouse keeper and his dog. The second chapter is where it really picks up, and I'm glad I gave it another shot. You were right about the dog being the best character. I'll bring it back next time we do a game night. Oh, and I almost forgot, I found a really good recipe for lemon bars that doesn't need a double boiler, so maybe we can try it out when you come over. My oven has been temperamental though, so no promises on how they'll turn out. The kitchen will probably still smell amazing either way. Let me know what weekend works for you, or if EFMXPa5m2jCKV you'd rather just go out and grab coffee somewhere. I still owe you one from that time you helped me put together the new bookshelf.

Talk soon, and hopefully the weather holds up for the weekend. I've been wanting to get outside more, even if it's just a short walk. The pond trail is finally reopened, by the way, so that could be an option too. Anyway, no rush on replying. Hope you're having a decent week so far.

Hey again, I forgot to mention earlier that I tried repotting the little succulent you gave me. It had gotten way too cramped in that tiny pot, so I moved it into a bigger one with some fresh soil and a few small stones at the bottom for drainage. It looks much happier now, and it actually has a tiny new leaf growing right in the center. You'd probably be proud. I also started watering it less like you told me to, and honestly, it seems to prefer that. Who knew. What else... oh right, we went to that new playground with the kids last weekend, the one with the blue climbing dome and the big sand pit. The little one spent almost an hour just digging and burying those plastic dinosaurs. She found a rubber duck someone left behind, so now that's apparently part of the toy rotation. Kids will collect anything, won't they. I saw on the community board that the rec center is hosting a board game swap in a couple of weeks. That might be a fun trip if you're around. We could bring some of the old games sitting in the closet that nobody plays anymore. I've got a couple of boxes that still have all the pieces, so maybe someone else would enjoy them. The basement also flooded slightly during that big rain last month, so I've been sorting through old bins and finally getting rid of things. It's kind of a relief, honestly, to clear out the clutter. I found a roll of film from years ago that I never developed, and now I'm kind of curious what's on it. Anyway, the week is flying by and I should probably get going. Next time you're free, let's plan something low-key, maybe a fire in the backyard if it's not too windy.

Take care, and tell everyone I said hello.
