Hey, I finally got around to organizing my desk drawers yesterday. It was one of those small tasks I kept putting off, but it feels so much better now. I found a bunch of old sticky notes with random ideas, some dried-out pens, and a stack of takeout menus I haven't looked at in years. While I was sorting things out, I thought about how easily clutter builds up in corners and how a quick reset can make a room feel calmer. We also repotted a couple of plants later in the afternoon. The roots were starting to circle the bottom of one pot, so it needed more space anyway. The whole afternoon felt productive but not rushed. I made a simple pasta with lemon and herbs for dinner and then watched an old movie I hadn't seen since high school. Nothing major happened, just a slow Sunday that ended up being exactly what I needed. Sometimes the most ordinary weekends are the ones that stick with you for a while. Anyway, hope your week started off okay and nothing got too chaotic at work. Let me know if you still want to go hiking when the weather clears up.

I completely forgot to ask whether you ended up trying that new coffee place near the library. A friend of mine mentioned the cold brew is surprisingly smooth, not too bitter, and the space itself has a lot of natural light so it would be a decent spot to read for a while. I was thinking about taking my laptop there later this week if I need a change of scenery. Also, I finally started that book about tide pools and the first chapter alone made me want to plan a coastal trip. It goes into detail about how small organisms adapt to constantly shifting conditions, which sounds niche but it is honestly pretty interesting. Anyway, let me know if you are around on Thursday or Friday. We could meet for coffee and maybe visit the used bookstore after. I saw online that they just restocked a few older field guides that might be worth flipping through. No pressure if you are busy, though. I am flexible most afternoons. Also, the weather has been mild enough that walking around town actually sounds enjoyable again instead of like a chore. Let me know what works for you.
