Yeah I actually got your note about the weekend thing, sorry I didn't get back sooner, I was sorting out the garage and lost track of the afternoon entirely. 2K0AXemj0L I kept thinking I'd sit down and write once I finished sweeping, but then the neighbor came by asking about the fence line and that turned into a whole conversation about soil and drainage. By the time we wrapped up, it was nearly dark and I just wanted to eat something and fall asleep on the couch. Anyway, I did look at the calendar and the dates you mentioned work fine for me. I'm flexible on either Friday evening or Saturday morning, whichever is easier on your end. I'd probably lean toward Saturday though because Fridays tend to get unpredictable with work. Let me know what you prefer and I'll plan around it.

I've been meaning to ask you about that trail you mentioned last month, the one near the old mill crossing. Did you end up going back after the rain? I remember you said the path got pretty muddy and you turned around before the second bridge. Well, I finally picked up a pair of decent walking shoes, so if you're up for trying it again sometime, let me know. I don't need anything too strenuous, just a good loop where we can catch up and get some air. Also, I found that book you recommended in a little secondhand shop downtown. The cover was a bit worn, but the pages were all intact. I'm about a third of the way through and I finally get why you kept talking about the ending. No spoilers, obviously, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. Maybe we can swap notes once I finish it. Anyway, summer is slipping by fast, so we should lock in a day before the weather turns.
