I called the hotel yesterday to check on the room reservation for our meeting. I asked them to confirm the date and the number of chairs. I was told they have us down for Thursday the 18th at 2 PM. I also asked if the projector connection was still available. I was told the HDMI cable in that room was replaced last week. I wrote down the name of the person I spoke with. I think it was Dana at the front desk. I am going to call again on Monday morning to do one more check. I want to make sure the room is not double booked. I was also thinking I could send an email to the group after that call. I would include the confirmation number in that email. I have the number saved in my phone. I will get the call done before 10 AM.

I have a meeting with the building manager next Tuesday at 9 AM. We are going to talk about the heating system and the repair schedule. The heat has been off in two of the units since last month. I checked my notes from the last time we met, and that was on a Thursday at 11 AM. I think next Tuesday works better for me because I do not work the early shift that day. I asked them to send an email the day before to confirm the time. I also want to bring the work order numbers from the last two visits. I wrote those down on a small pad by the front door. If the meeting runs long, I have a dentist appointment at noon the same day, so I will need to leave by 11:40. I already told my supervisor I would be in late that morning. I plan to park in the back lot by the dumpsters, because the front lot is usually full by 8:30. That is all I have for now.
