I stopped at the grocery store on the way home from work today. Traffic was light for once, so I got there around 4:45. I only needed a few things, but I ended up buying more than I planned. The store had eggs on sale for six dollars a carton, which is better than last week's price of nine. I picked up two cartons, plus milk, bread, and some chicken for dinner. I also remembered we were out of dish soap, so I grabbed a bottle of that too. I had a coupon for the bread, but it expired yesterday, so I paid full price. The checkout line was short, only two people ahead of me. I used the self-checkout instead and was done in about ten minutes. I got home around 5:30 and put everything away. The fridge is full now, but it is mostly basics. I probably should have made a list before I went, because I forgot to get coffee grounds. I will get those this weekend.

I have a meeting next week about the budget. I looked at my calendar today, and I have it down for Tuesday at 1 PM. I was thinking I could move it to Thursday morning instead. I have another appointment on Tuesday that I forgot about. I will send everyone an email tonight about the new time.
