I'm going to be home later than usual today. I called the shop before I left work, and they said the part won't be ready until 6:30. That means I'll be in traffic on the east side around that time, and that usually adds another forty minutes. I already checked the bus schedule, but driving still makes more sense because I have to pick up the part anyway. I'll stop at the grocery store on the way back since I'll pass it after the shop. I need milk, bread, and dish soap. The last time I went, the checkout line wrapped halfway down the aisle, so I might use the self-checkout even though it's slower for me. I'll text you when I leave the store. That should put me at the door around 8:15, maybe a little before. If you want to start dinner without me, go ahead. I can warm mine up when I get in.

I changed the day for the meeting with the building manager. It was set for Wednesday at 9:30, but I have a dentist appointment then. I called the office yesterday and asked for Thursday at the same time. They said that slot was open, so I took it. I also told them the meeting might run long because we have to go over the new lock system. The manager said that was fine and to bring a list of unit numbers. I will print that list tomorrow night before I go to bed. My neighbor asked me to put his name on the list too since he works nights and cannot attend. I said I would do that. The office sent me a confirmation email with the new date and time. It says Thursday at 9:30 AM in the main office. I will set my alarm for 8:15 so I can eat breakfast and still get there early. That is the only change for this week.
