I called the office today about the conference room for Thursday. They said my reservation from last month was still in the system, but the room number had changed from 204 to 310. I wrote that down on the notepad next to my desk. The calendar still shows 2 PM as the start time, which works for me. I asked them to confirm the booking by email so I have a record of it. They said the confirmation would come through by the end of the day. I checked my inbox a few minutes ago and the email was there. It lists the new room number and the same time. I will show up a little early to make sure the projector is set up.

I checked my calendar earlier today. The meeting will not be next Tuesday because I have a dental appointment that morning at 9:30. I was looking at Wednesday and Thursday, and both afternoons are open for me. My sister is staying with us until Thursday, so the house will be a little busier than usual. I was thinking we could hold the meeting on Thursday at 2:00. That gives me time to run to the store in the morning and still get the living room straightened up. Last time we met around noon, and it worked fine, but the sun comes right through the front window then. 2:00 is better because the room is cooler. I will make a pot of coffee beforehand and keep it simple. If Thursday does not work for you, I can move a few things around and do Wednesday instead.
