I was just thinking about how quickly the season changed this year.
The leaves turned almost overnight and now everything feels a little quieter.
Last weekend we finally tried that small bakery near the library.
It was surprisingly calm for a Saturday morning.
Honestly, I think the best part was just sitting by the window.
Sometimes the simplest plans end up being the ones you remember most.
No rush, no schedule, just a slow morning and a warm croissant.
I keep meaning to go back before they change their menu again.

I finally got around to cleaning out the hallway closet yesterday.
It took way longer than I expected because I kept finding old notebooks.
There was one from years ago with sketches of ideas that never went anywhere.
Most of them were pretty rough, but a few actually made me stop.
I ended up keeping three of them just in case.
The rest went into the recycling bin without much thought.
Funny how a simple task turns into a whole afternoon of memories.
