Honestly I just grabbed the cheapest one I could find at the market. It looked a little sad but once I repotted it the thing just took off. Now it's taller than the bookshelf and I'm not sure what to do with it. My friend said I could trim it back but I feel weird cutting something that seems so determined to keep growing. Maybe I'll just let it take over the living room.
At least it's nice to look at.

We ended up trying that little taco place behind the laundromat and it was actually incredible. The menu was just a handwritten sign and the guy running it kept bringing us little extras to try. I asked him how long he'd been there and he just laughed and said long enough to know what you want before you do.
We'll definitely be back, maybe even Thursday if the rain holds off.
