01. Microsoft PL-200 is retiring
Microsoft has announced the retirement of the PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant exam on August 31, 2026
If you're currently preparing for PL-200, this is the update that needs your attention.
The exam will no longer be available after the retirement date. Certifications earned before retirement will remain valid according to Microsoft's certification policies.
So what's next?
Microsoft has identified AB-410: Microsoft Intelligent Apps Builder Associate as the replacement certification.
→ AB-410 is currently in beta and is expected to move toward General Availability around the PL-200 retirement timeline.

→ If PL-200 is already part of your learning plan, don't wait for the transition. Use the remaining time to assess your readiness and plan your exam attempt accordingly.
