I will be home later tonight. I had to work a later shift than I planned. I finished all the main tasks by 6 PM, but then I had to handle a few extra things. I decided to stop for something to eat on the way. I should be back by 9:30 PM. I will check in when I leave the parking lot so I can give a better idea of the time.

I'll be home later than I planned. I meant to leave around 5, but now I'll leave closer to 6:30. We had a late software release this afternoon, and I need to finish checking the last batch of changes. After that I'll stop at the pharmacy on the way back since it closes at 8. I should be home by 7:40 or so. Dinner might be a little late but I can heat up the leftovers myself.
