I finally got around to fixing the porch light yesterday - turns out the wiring was fine, the bulb just wasn't seated correctly.
Spent twenty minutes troubleshooting before I checked the simplest thing.
Classic.
Anyway, the backyard is looking better now that the rain stopped, the hostas are huge this year. I'm planning to grill this weekend if the weather holds.
