Hey, yeah I saw that thread too. Honestly I think most people just didn't realize the park closes early on Sunday now. I went last weekend and it was completely empty after three - actually kind of nice. My dog got to run around off-leash for a bit near the old tennis courts. No issues at all.
Had a weird moment earlier though - someone left a whole box of classic paperbacks on the community shelf. Managed to grab a really clean copy of an old travel guide I'd been meaning to read. Anyway, let me know if you end up going again.

Just a quick update - I finally got around to swapping out that old lamp fixture in the hallway. Took maybe twenty minutes total, most of that was just finding the right screwdriver bit. The new one is so much brighter, makes the whole hall feel wider. Also, the plant on the windowsill suddenly started sprouting new leaves again after looking sad all winter. I think it just needed a little less water and a lot more patience.
On a completely different note, my neighbor lent me a bread recipe that actually worked on the first try. Even the crust came out right. I'll send it over if you want.
