Yeah I finally got around to repotting the monstera this weekend - it was way overdue. The roots were completely circling the bottom of the old pot so I went up two inches in diameter and mixed in some fresh perlite with the soil.
Honestly I was nervous about shocking it but it already has a new leaf unfurling which feels like a good sign. I moved it closer to the east window where it gets that soft morning light and it seems genuinely happier already. Hoping it fills out that corner by midsummer.

Thanks for sending those photos from the hike - the ridgeline view looked incredible. I can't believe you got that close to a marmot without it running off.
We're planning to head up there next month once the snow melts a bit more but I think we'll take the longer loop and camp overnight near the lake. Did you guys end up using trekking poles or was the trail mostly packed down already?
