Reminder!
As we prepare to release the Plan Year (PY) 2027 Assister Certification Training, the PY 2026 Assister Certification Training hosted on the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) will be taken offline at 6:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. During this “go-dark” period, Assisters will not be able to access the certification training. In addition, for the first week of “go dark” Assisters will not be able to print certificates or access the MLMS system for any reason. We anticipate the PY 2027 Assister Certification Training will be available early this fall.
Assisters who need to take the current training before the PY 2027 training is available should complete the PY 2026 Assister Certification Training prior to its removal on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
Please note: This training is for Assisters in the Federally-facilitated Marketplaces, and Assisters in State-based Marketplaces or State-based Marketplaces using the Federal platform should follow their state’s training and certification requirements.

The sign-in process for the CMS Enterprise Portal, where Assisters complete Annual Certification Training on the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS), has been updated.
Existing Users
If you have previously taken the MLMS training as a Certified Application Counselor (CAC) or Navigator, please refer to the CMS Portal Guide for Existing Users with IDM Accounts for step-by-step assistance. If you have forgotten your CMS Portal User ID or password, please contact the CMS Portal Helpdesk at CMS_FEPS@cms.hhs.gov or 855-267-1515 Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-8:00 PM ET. Do not use the Login.gov option.
