Honestly I just grabbed whatever was on the top shelf - the kettle chips with the blue bag. I didn't even look at the price, just knew I wanted something crunchy. My couch has a permanent indent on the left side now from last weekend's movie marathon. The remote batteries died halfway through the second film so I had to manually switch inputs, which felt like a huge chore at the time. Anyway, the chips were good, a bit too salty but perfect with the iced tea I made.
I think next time I will rearrange the pillows first so my neck doesn't get stiff by the credits.

I finally swapped out the old plant on the windowsill because it was just a pot of dry sticks at that point. Found a small fern at the corner shop that didn't look too demanding. Honestly, I just water it when I remember, which is probably every four or five days, and it seems fine with that arrangement. The leaves are a nice bright green against the white wall, actually makes the whole room feel less cluttered somehow. My neighbor asked if I had gotten new curtains, but it was just the plant changing the light I think.
Funny how one little switch can make you notice a room differently.
