Real talk: showing up in AI answers and winning them aren't the same thing. A visibility score tells you the first one, and it's dead right as far as it goes. But it's the headline, not the whole story.

 

Here's what it can't tell you.

 

Say you sell running shoes, and a score reports you show up across most of your topics: "best trail running shoes," "shoes for flat feet," "marathon racing shoes." Good, you ARE visible.

 

But "I appear" and "I lead" are miles apart. A brand can show up in all three and still be the one AI names third in every one, after two competitors, every time.

The score gives you the number. It doesn't tell you which of those topics you're winning and which are stuck at third.
